SVC provides training and facilitates work on cultural responsiveness and fairness and equity in practice. We also weave the concepts of fairness and equity in all aspects of program planning, development and evaluation.
SVC has experience in guiding the practice of staff and agencies to address cultural responsiveness and disproportionality in service provision. SVC has developed and executed plans to improve services and create a safe environment to have difficult dialogues. This has included the co-development of the “Cross Cultural Communications” series and “Engaging Families through Fairness and Equity” series and other innovative systems to address disproportionality in child welfare.
